East winds and birds aloft through Friday
posted by David La Puma | 10:47 PM
It looks like east winds should persist over the Mid-Atlantic through Friday, as high pressure dominates the region. Each night will experience moderate levels of migration, limited only by the number of migrants ready for the journey. A cold front will move into the area by the weekend, but we'll get to that later in the week. In the meantime, inland sites should be very birdy, with coastal sites lagging a bit due to the easterly winds.
